SKIN

here in the desert dry skin is a constant problem.   since 1997  i have been putting extra virgin olive oil in my lotion bottle to help.  anywhere from 2 tablespoons to 1 fourth of a cup.  depending on my needs.  doesn't matter if you use the cheap dollar store lotion; once you put in the olive oil it works like a charm.
FACE
in the winter i use heavy creams (again desert) and in the summer i use only something light such as Oil of Olay.  i can't use the heavy creams in the summer because i will break out badly.  and again, the heavy creams don't have to be expensive.  EB5 is one that i use.  (Walgreens)
Tyra Banks said that she puts Vaseline under her eyes.  i like to use it on my lips too in the winter.  it is much better than chapstick.  and belive it or not there is such a thing as chapstick addicts.  i know,  it sounds crazy.  so use your vaseline!!
here is another trick.  i use self tanner on my face in the summer time as a foundation.  (i don't apply every day)  the reason is because it is so hot here that if i wear foundation it melts off.  even if i wear the powder type it will get on my cell phone.  the self tanner is the only way to go.

recently i bought one of those new salad spritzers (italian) and used the dressing.  i washed out the bottle and put in baby oil so my legs look good in shorts.  the bottles for dressing are designed to spray oil so it works really good. and is much easier to apply then dumping it in your hand.  it comes out in a fine mist.
